Karen and I began this journey back in 2010 when we saved a mom with 2 sick puppies. We didn’t know much but we learned a lot from our trusted vet and others. After they went to amazing homes, we wanted to save more. We have taking in over 150 puppies in almost 11 years.

I, along with my husband, have been saving dogs since 2010. We have saved, helped, transported so many over the last 10 years… this is our passion. Some days are harder than others but knowing we are in this together, with our amazing support team, we are going to succeed in helping more dogs and will continue to help other rescues.

I have been around dogs my entire life, own my own business and also board dogs. I have taken many dogs left at my grooming shop, helped owners find new homes for their dogs and have known Mike and Karen for 10 years. With this team of volunteers there is so much love for dogs and knowing I will be a part of saving more fills my heart so much.

I am a Gold Star Mom and have known Karen and Mike for about 6 years. We have done many events together for our Gold Star Families/Veterans. I saw a post Karen made about needing a foster for a little dog.....and that's how it began. Karen asked me to be a part of her team to save more animals and I of course said, Yes!! I have fostered many dogs for Karen and I love what I do.

We both got to know Karen after adopting our first dog Hank from her in early 2018. He is the the light of our lives and it pains us to see how many other dogs need our help. We started fostering about a year after we got Hank to do our part in saving more dogs and are going on foster #8. One of our fosters decided she wanted to stick around with us, so now we have two precious pups from Karen and Sawyer is obsessed with her furbrother Hank. We are so excited to work with Karen; she focuses on the best fitting homes for dogs, rather than the first okay home, and puts all of her trust in her fosters. She does whatever it takes to give her dogs the lives they deserve and never look back on what brought them here. We can’t wait to watch her be successful in this new journey.
